Why is the Jog-A-Thon Important?
Because it is the primary means to raise monies for CAPSO. All students will participate in the annual Jog-A-Thon by walking or jogging around a set course for one hour. A flat-rate donation totaling $160 per student is needed. Donations can be made through neighbors, friends and family sponsoring your child in the Jog-A-Thon.
Where does CAPSO apply the money?
Classroom Budgets:
CAPSO gives $900 to each classroom to pay for class parties, teacher gifts throughout the year, as well as other event expenses so you are not asked to pull out your check book for every event
Community Picnic:
CAPSO pays the rental fee for the picnic venue
Common Ground Speakers:
CAPSO pays for CAS parents to attend this lecture series
Faculty/Staff Appreciation Party:
CAPSO sponsors the end-of-year party for the teachers and staff.
Miscellaneous Needs:
CAPSO buys school equipment, pays for the Drama production and hospitality events, as well as fund library needs and participate in the CAS annual fund
What do we need from you?
Each student needs to raise $160 through sponsorship done on-line through this Join Me page or through the envelope already sent home in their backpack.
